    The referral code is DGN6-A. Enter it when you sign up, or add it in the Wealthsimple app within 7 days. After you deposit $100 CAD within 30 days, you receive $25 CAD in your Wealthsimple chequing account.

    How much is the Wealthsimple referral bonus?

    Both sides get $25 CAD. Since June 8, 2026, referrers earn a flat $25 CAD per qualifying referral — the older tiered program that paid up to $2,000 for very large referrals has ended.

    What's the minimum deposit to get the bonus?

    $100 CAD, deposited within 30 days of the referral being created. This changed on February 25, 2026 — before that the minimum was $1, and many pages online still show the outdated figure. The money must come from an external bank or institution; transfers from other Wealthsimple users don't count.

    Can I add a referral code after I've already signed up?

    Yes, within 7 days. Tap the gift icon in the Wealthsimple mobile app and choose "Have a code?" — the option isn't available on the desktop site, and it disappears 7 days after your first deposit. If you haven't funded your account yet, there's no deadline to add the code.
